Yes, a lot of people don’t like to do this, especially since the vendors are stubborn and have decent points to make, but it’s worth trying with a little subtlety. For this, you will have to learn the art of negotiating with the seller, say that you are interested in the “product”, but that you want to see other options to compare prices. You can even leave the establishment and come back some time later to see if they dare to lower the price.
Despite this, there are places where haggling will be impossible since the prices are established, usually in renowned or good brand stores or establishments.
Take what is necessary
Are you going to go snorkelling? Take what is necessary for this, it is imperative that you bring your own equipment so as not to spend more money renting. Are you going for a walk? Bring your groceries and your own water so you don’t spend more buying in a store.
